Vader Immortal: The Trilogy
Vader Immortal is arguably the most iconic Star Wars VR experience. Developed by ILMxLAB — Lucasfilm's interactive entertainment division — directed by Ben Snow and written by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman v Superman). The story is set between Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One, in Vader's castle on the planet Mustafar.
Episode I
Released on May 21, 2019 as a launch title for the Oculus Quest. Introduction to the world, first taste of lightsaber combat and Force powers. The player is abducted by Vader to Mustafar. Metacritic: 69/100.
Episode II
Released on September 25, 2019. Deeper lightsaber combat and Force techniques. New locations inside the castle, with voice performances by Scott Lawrence as Darth Vader and Maya Rudolph as ZO-E3.
Episode III
Released on November 21, 2019. The trilogy's climax features an epic lightsaber duel against Vader himself. Each episode also includes a Lightsaber Dojo — a standalone mode with combat challenges.

Star Wars: Squadrons
Star Wars: Squadrons is the most ambitious Star Wars VR game, developed by Motive Studio (EA) on the Frostbite 3 engine. It launched on October 2, 2020 for PS4, PC, and Xbox, with full VR support on PCVR and PSVR.
The gameplay is first-person cockpit — you see everything from inside your starfighter's cockpit. There are 8 starfighter classes (4 per faction):
New Republic Fleet
X-Wing (Fighter), A-Wing (Interceptor), Y-Wing (Bomber), U-Wing (Support). Post-launch, the legendary B-Wing was added as free DLC.
Imperial Fleet

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge was also developed by ILMxLAB and released as a Meta Quest exclusive. Part 1 launched in November 2020, and Last Call (Part 2) followed in September 2021. The game is set at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu — the very same location as the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme park land at Disney Parks.
Gameplay
Action-adventure with blaster combat, puzzles, and exploration. You play as a droid repair technician caught up in pirate intrigue. Includes Tales — flashback missions set across different eras of the Star Wars timeline.
Last Call Expansion
Part 2 added new stories, locations, and lightsaber gameplay. Guest voice appearances, connections to the Book of Boba Fett era. Extended playtime: 3-4 hours per Part.
